Carlino's Covid-19 Company Updates

Dear loyal customers,

In light of the recent spread of Coronavirus in the United States and cases reported in our community, we are reaching out to you with an update on how we are handling the situation. Although we've all been monitoring the spread of this virus for some time, having it appear in the communities where we are located makes the virus more real to all of us. As we continue to evaluate how the situation affects us, here are some of the steps we are taking at Carlino's in both our Ardmore and West Chester markets:

  • All employees have been instructed to stay home from work and get tested as soon as possible if they show any symptoms of Coronavirus or have potentially been in contact with anyone who has contracted the virus.
  • All customers and employees who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask or face shield upon entering our markets. If any customer or employee has not been fully vaccinated, then a mask or face shield is required upon entering our markets.  
  • In addition to our normal cleaning procedures, the markets are currently being thoroughly disinfected. We continue to take extra steps during routine cleaning of doors, railings, tables, bar surfaces, etc.
  • Hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout both markets.
  • We have halted operations of our self-service soup, salad, and antipasto bars. All the same products will remain available, though they will be pre-packaged.
  • Indoor and Outdoor Dining Services have resumed with social distancing in place. 
  • We are actively encouraging the use of our local delivery service, powered by Mercato.  Please order online.
  • We are actively discussing the situation within our family and with our management teams to keep up with the latest information and plan for the potential effect on our markets in the future.

For the safety of our loyal customers and staff, we have the following adjusted hours in place.

Current Adjusted Operating Hours as of September 1, 2020, and until further notice:

Monday through Friday: 9 AM to 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM to 5 PM
Sunday: 9 AM to 4 PM

In addition, we ask you to play a part in keeping our markets clean and safe. Please wash your hands frequently and thoroughly, use our hand sanitizing stations, and opt to shop online through our market delivery service if you are feeling unwell.

We are hopeful this will pass with limited impact on our communities but will be prepared as we get more information in the future.
